Digital Accessibility is everybody’s responsibility, so we are thrilled to offer an industry leading, role-based accessibility training programme. Our aim is to provide people with the knowledge and skills to create high quality accessible products consistently. All of our accessibility training is role-based, to ensure its relevance to specific digital teams. We recognise that the most valuable resource in any training room is the time invested by the people being trained, so we keep things specific to transferring the skills staff need to deliver accessibility within their jobs. The roles we cater for include Web developers, QA testers, Business Analysts & Product Managers, UX/ Visual designers, and content authors.

Session Selection
Accessibility for Web Developers Advanced
Enables your developers to understand what they need to do to ensure their code is accessible and what tools are available to help them test how well they’ve done this. This training course focusing on responsive websites exploring the challenges of ensuring accessibility across desktop, tablet and mobile.
Accessibility for QA Testers Fundamentals
To help QA testers progressively introduce elements of WCAG testing into their work. The course looks at a core set of simple accessibility test methodologies your QA team can integrate with their current test scripts while a site is being built, to find accessibility errors throughout the build process while it’s more cost-effective to fix them.
Accessibility for Business Analysts and Product Managers
This training enables BAs and PMs to understand how to effectively play their role in planning, monitoring, and delivering accessibility efficiently throughout the software development lifecycle.
Accessibility for UX & Visual Desingers and Accessibility Content Authors
The UX and Visual Designers training introduces accessible design checkpoints taken from the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. Approaching accessibility from a user centred perspective it enables UX and visual designers to understand accessibility issues in a practical way with plenty of examples used throughout to illustrate issues.
Content Authors - the purpose of this course is to give content authors the guidance they need to understand and implement accessibility best practice relevant to creating and maintaining content on a website or app.
All training sessions will run from 9:00 to 17:00 and will require the use of a laptop.
